Day 1: Arrival day
Meet & greet at Tbilisi international airport by representative & transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Tbilisi Sightseeing
Hotel Breakfast. After breakfast, our representative will pick you up for the sightseeing tour in Tbilisi. Start at Sameba Holy Trinity Cathedral, one of the largest Orthodox cathedrals in the world. Continue to Metekhi Church and monument to Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. All reviews narikala fortress with cable car mother Georgia great view and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Walk down to the district of Sulphur bath houses passing by the only mosque in Tbilisi. Stroll through the Sharden Str. area full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops, and breath in the living past. Continues to visit Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and the clock tower of famous Theatre. Freedom Square and Rustaveli Avenue, after we go to Mtawminda Park to see Funicular by mtawminda railway. After the city tour, we go shopping in Tbilisi Mall, the largest mall in Georgia. After shopping takes you back to the Hotel. Overnight: Hotel in Tbilisi.
Hotel Breakfast. After breakfast, our representative will pick you up and start the journey to Mtskheta-Ananuri-Kazbegi, first we see the cathedral of Svetitskhoveli and the Jvari monastery it’s on top on the hill, with beautiful panorama views. Next, Your first stop will be at Ananuri complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes. Complex featuring churches and towers dating back to the XVI-XVII cc is beautifully overlooking Jinvali reservoir. Continue our drive to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for the fact that being different in color they still keep their own colors even after the merge. We will then drive over the Cross pass and make a short stop at Soviet time People’s Friendship mountain views overlooking a deep gorge of Caucasus mountain range. In Kazbegi, we will change our vehicle to a four-wheel drive car to reach Gergeti Holy Trinity Church located at an altitude of 2170 m, and enjoy breathtaking views of Mt Kazbegi. Drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight: At the hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 4: Akhaltsikhe-Borjomi
Hotel Breakfast. After breakfast, our representative will pick you up and start the journey to Akhaltsikhe-Borjomi, a historical small-town close to the caves is newly reconstructed Rabati fortress, built in the 13th century, doorpost Rabat developed under the influence of different cultures over subsequent centuries and this is reflected in its architecture. Within the 7 hectares castle complex, there is a Church, a Mosque, a Minaret and a Synagogue. It had a renovation and restoration, after which these places are must-see. Beautiful palace makes a huge impression, as well as a fortress. Further direction back to Borjomi, Walk in the national park of Borjomi taste of natural mineral waters. Then rise by cable car to the observation platform, from which you can enjoy views of the Borjomi Gorge. Then we drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight: At the hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 5: Kakheti Wine tour
Hotel Breakfast. After breakfast, our representative will pick you up and go to Kakheti tour. First we will go towards Bodbe nunnery; After about hour and a half trip, we will see Bodbe nunnery; (the nunnery is the most beautiful and important orthodox complex among nunneries in Georgia, there a panoramic view to Alazani valley from the nunnery) After the end of excursion in the nunnery, we will go towards the Sighnaghi fortified town; we will have excursion around Sighnaghi city; (during excursion we will discuss about the city: visit house of Georgian wine, Stepantsminda Church, central museum of the city and the vivid narrow street of Sighnaghi); After excursion in Sighnaghi we will have a time for free walking; Later we drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight: At the hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 6: David Gareja Monastery
Hotel Breakfast. After breakfast, our representative will pick you up and starts the tour at David Gareja Monastery.
David Gareja is a complex of monasteries situated deep in a so-called “semi-desert” south-east of Tbilisi. The Monasteries were founded in the 6th century by the Christian Father St. David. A trip to David Gareji Monastery. Visit Lavra where the monks live. Uphill walking to Udabno to see fresco in the cave-cells. Later we drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight: At the hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 7: Uplistsikhe-Gori
Hotel Breakfast. After breakfast, our representative will pick you up and go to Uplistsikhe Tour – Uplistsikhe town (the Fortress of Master) – incredible cave city built in the rock. Uplistsikhe Cave Town-Fortress is situated on a rocky massif in 15 km eastwards to town Gori on the left bank of the river Mtkvari. The fortress is mentioned in chronicles from earliest times. Its history begins in the I-II millennium B.C. Uplistsikhe was an important religious, political and cultural center in the Hellenistic and the late Antique periods (IV c. B.C. – IV c. A.D.) On the way back, from Uplistsikhe Tour, will pass the city of Gori – the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, where is situated his museum and house. Then we drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight: At the hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 8: End of the tour. Departure from Batumi to Tbilisi.
Hotel Breakfast. After breakfast, our representative will take up for departing to Tbilisi. In Tbilisi, we stop to the biggest shopping center East Point where you can do last shopping and after shopping transfer to airport regarding flight departure time.
