Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI)

This attraction made to set the honor of Tenzing Norgay who climbed the Everest in 1953 along with Edmund Hillary. This is a typical museum with attractive and informative contents. Many expedition artifacts, houses for the trainers, restaurant, souvenir shop, a boarding school for mountaineering students and more. It is located on the road to Jawahar Road or the Birch Hill.

St. Andrew's Church

It is the Old Anglican church made in 1983. It made in the memory of Saint Andrew. 1873 the church reconstructed after the earthquake damage.

Darjeeling Zoo

Barbotey Rock Garden is the other word for Rock Garden. It keeps a distance of 10 kilometers from Darjeeling Town. Roads with sharp hairpin bends take you to the Rock garden with beautiful views of Hills filled with clouds. It is made by cutting rocks at different levels. It is decorated with natural waterfalls. It was created by the Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council (DGHC), recently the name changed as GTA.

Ganga Maya Park

It will take 3 kilometer journey to reach Ganga Maya Park. It is surrounded by hills and having a natural water stream. You can walk over the bridges built over the stream. There is also a small lake to enjoy boating. It is a lovely place of flowers, trees, shrubs, fountain, etc.
